So yesterday arrived in Switzerland as I mentioned. Weather was really bad but as soon as it stopped raining we went for a drive to shoot something. Got soaked anyway on the way back XD Editing: - Gradient filter in Camera Raw for some sky detail. - Local contrast adjustments with rgb curves. - Color correction su accentuate the difference between blue sky and yellow field. - Gray and light pink/yellow circular gradient in "sof light" mode for some "sun glow". - Sharpening with custom filter. Golden sun rays in Switzerland

Quite similar to Phil's pic since we were together there. I exposed for a much brighter picture since I like the warm sun feeling, the sun rays and just the golden light. I kind of went off the wall with saturation here, not my usual I guess. What a beautiful 8h walk :) Editing: - Cleaning and preparing in Camera Raw (vignetting etc...). - Steep RGB curves for contrast and color. - Solid orange layer on low opacity. - Orange to gray gradient in soft light mode for sun glow. - Little grain. Davos, Tschugen, Canton of Graubunden, Switzerland Another one from Flüelapass! Such a beautiful place, can't get enough of mountain landscapes :) The weather is pretty bad right now, hope it will clear up a little so we can go hike some more. Tech corner: It may just be in my head but it looks like you can control dof much better on my rangefinder compared to a mirror based camera. Most of my landscape shots are shot at F8, and it's oddly enough for total depth of field. The lens is just incredible, the detail it pulls out edge-to-edge is just astonishing. Such a nice little piece of optic engineering (cheap too!). Editing: - Basic corrections in Camera Raw (vignetting removal, exposure tweaking...). - B&W conversion in Silver Efex Pro. - Pushing a little detail with curves and layer masks. - B&W layer in luminosity mode for original colors. - Local saturation of warm colors (mainly flowers). - Light orange to gray circular gradient in "softlight" mode for some extra glow.
